Could you give a lasting gift for the future of the church?

“We have had a long engagement with work of renewal in the UK Church... support for the ongoing work of ReSource is a priority for us. ReSource appears to be making a lasting contribution to the building of the Kingdom.”

Legacy donor couple

If you are considering leaving a gift to ReSource in your Will – thank you.

What does ReSource do with legacy gifts?

We promise to use your legacy gift for significant projects that have a lasting impact on little, local and ordinary churches. A recent gift, for example, enabled us to expand our work providing courses and resources for churches.

How to write or amend a Will

If you are writing a new Will, or writing a Will for the first time you can include ReSource as a beneficiary, choosing your preferred type of gift.

If you already have a Will you can write a codicil (additional instructions with full legal weight) detailing a gift to ReSource.

Whatever your situation, we recommend you contact a solicitor to assist you.

Types of gift

A pecuniary gift is a set amount of money, which remains fixed once the Will is finalised. The actual value of the gift is likely to decline over time.

A residuary gift is a share of your estate. Leaving, for example, a 5% residuary gift to a charity means whatever the total amount of your estate, you know what proportion will benefit a particular cause.

(It is also possible to leave specific gifts – physical items.)
