After a brief stint in finance, Katie completed her doctorate in mathematical and computational biology. She then moved to Germany in 2014 where she married her husband Christian and worked in a couple of research positions. An extended period of ill health followed. This was both extremely challenging but also life changing as Jesus revealed who the Spirit is, and Katie discovered a depth, delight and power in communion with God through prayer and intercession.

Katie joined the ReSource Intercessors Network March 2022 and became one of the Intercessor Coordinators of the Network in June 2022. This role has given her deep joy and has deepened and strengthened her faith as she has witnessed the power of prophetic prayer which is so fundamental to the work of ReSource.

After discerning a call to move to the UK, Katie returned with Christian, to live with her family in South Oxfordshire in Autumn 2022. Worshipping at the village parish church, they have found it a privilege to witness how God is moving among this “little, local and ordinary” church. With a rather remarkable improvement in health, Katie felt a call to the role of Project Officer and is delighted to join Jolyon working on the Alongside Scheme.
