Revd Anne Roberts

Anne has supported the work of ReSource for many years, especially when her husband Kevin was the Director. She is also ordained and has spent most of her ministry years in Chaplaincy roles. She has worked in several hospitals, a school and a Hospice. She has also been Healing Advisor and Interim DDO in Carlisle Diocese, Chaplain to the Bishop of Bath and Wells and finally, Interim Rector of Central Telford Parish. Ordained ministry for her has been both varied and fun. A cancer diagnosis brought things to an abrupt halt in 2021, but she still does some work for ReSource, both as a Minister and as an Alongside Companion. She says that she is past her “best before” date, but still of use! She is very grateful for the NHS, for the prayers of faithful friends and for the grace of God, that she has been given extra time.

Anne started to follow Jesus as a young child, and therefore has a huge respect for the faith of children. She grew up at St Mark's Church in Gillingham, Kent and found the adventure of Spirit-filled living to be a reality as a teenager. She has never looked back. She and Kevin met at St John’s College in Nottingham and now have 3 married children and 6 lovely grandchildren, so retirement allows more time to enjoy them all.
