Alive in Christ is a course for small groups, whose aim is to offer each member of the group a transforming experience of God’s love, enabling them to love and forgive others and helping them to become confident about serving God as a member of Christ’s Body.

 Along the way, the course aims to help group members identify any areas of their lives that may be preventing them from knowing and experiencing God’s love and, with the help of the course leaders, gently allow God to begin to address these issues. 

The course makes use of a variety of learning methods, including music and visual material, alongside study of the Bible together. The participant’s guide includes short Bible studies for each day of the week following the group sessions, which help to embed the message the course and build confidence in engaging with Scripture.

We hope that as members of the church make this journey and experience God’s love and grace, the whole church will be gradually transformed to become a community rooted in God’s grace and offering his love to others. 

Although Alive in Christ stands alone, it is also offered as a follow-up to Saints Alive! For those who have newly discovered the power of God’s Holy Spirit in their lives, Alive in Christ invites them to grow deeper in their relationships with Jesus and one another and experience more deeply the power of his love.
